Hello all!

I thought it be time to start a new shrine-along!

For ideas of previous shrine-alongs, see the past topics:

They can be any medium, any subject.

(here was my first, childish attempt at one for Jim Henson a few years back)

I am looking forward to great discussions, tips and communication!!

For folks who have decoupaged with "book" pages, is there art online, or do you really use old book pages for these kinds of things?"

It can be anything you want.

If can be a shrine to a deity, someone who has passed, a holiday....anything you want to create a home for!

There are hundreds of shrines on craftster, if you do a search. And I'm assuming hundreds more ideas!

I'm thinking of making a greek Olympians shrine for mine, if that helps.

It's totally up to you what you create a shrine for!

Also, I'm super stoked about some shrine materials I found last night thrifting!

I can't wait to take pics and post them!

I just bought a new box for a shrine, although I haven't decided what to yet.
It's a little wooden box from Dollarama and it has a "window" on the top and one side and a little golden clasp to close it

I think I might try to join in! Cheesy I've never made shrines before but I adore them. Hm. What to attack...

I have really used old book pages or photocopied book pages for my decoupaging.

I have altered real books and have made ornaments out of real book pages. It made me cringe to do it but the book was an old children's textbook with water damage and I saved it from the trash pile. These could be made smaller and added to a shrine.
  I'm inspired.Let's see what I can do

Awesome!!! Sorry I've been quiet, I've been preparing for my wedding next month!!!

I'd love to see how folk are doing. I have all the stuff to make several shrines, but haven't had enough free time to focus.
