I can't remember what pattern number I based these on.  I know it was a simplicity one, but I had issues with it as written.  The first one I made gave the child plumbers butt so I had to do some redrafting of the pattern to actually fit him.
The original pattern calls for patch front pockets, this time I altered the pattern to do more of a classic jean pocket.  The fabric was an upcycled pair of mans jeans I bought at goodwill (cost a whole $1.00 US).  The mid leg pockets were originally the back pockets of the jeans.
I was actually happy that I only broke 2 needles making this pair of jeans... (and happier still to discover a closer to my house then Joanns source of size 110 needles)

What a clever idea to reuse the pockets like that....that detail sorta makes the pants for me. I'm definitely going to try this for my little monster. Grin
