The smoothie is a deep rich berry color, my picture didn't come out that great.

This fantastic smoothie will help you get your fruit and veggie servings for the day, and you'll love every sip!!
This is the basic recipe:
Using a Blender, or a blender wand and a large cup, which every one you have.
*Add 3 large handfuls of fresh spinach with 1/2 cup water, blend it up.
*Add 1/2 of a banana, or whole...depending on your tastes.
*Add 1 cup of frozen berry mix - the darker colored berries are the best! or 1 mixed Berry Del Monte fruit naturals in juice.

Then I add:
Add 1 Tbl Spoon of Honey
Add 2 Tbl Spoon ground flax seed
Add 1 tspn of ginger
Add 1 tspn fresh lemon zest
Blend it until smooth, and drink it up!  It's so good, you'll want everyone you know to drink it too, :-)

I love spinach smoothies.  I usually use decaf iced green tea, spinach, and banana as a base and then add other fruits.  Sometimes carrots are nice in it as well.  Yours looks so tasty.

Hi Kitschbitch, that sounds yummy too!

I was gonna try some sweet red bell pepper, and pineapple one of these mornings.  Have you tried the green tea powder....Macha?....I want to give it a try too. :-)

The sweet red bell pepper sounds nice.  No, I haven't tried the powder, but I hear it is very energizing.

P.s. I am enjoying a spinach smoothie right now!
