Thanks for your answer. I will definitely try this as soon as I get some of those moving boxes out of my living room. This seems like a good project to make during lectures.
Don't miss to show the result!
I want to do this so bad! I don't think I could get away with it though. Employers aren't too keen on colorful hair.
So sorry for it. Maybe for Your holidays...
(Sorry to reply again, had an awesome thought! ) These could totally be used to be the dreads for an Izumi Curtis (FMA) cosplay. You can almost never find a good dread wig, so being able to make ones that go in your hair would be ideal. Plus, they would move around like real dreads!
Really good idea!
Goooorgeous. I'm seriously drooling over your rainbow ones, and I'm trying to think of a way to talk my mom into braiding my hair with a billion dreads. Talk about time and cost effective!
I have a question, though: How are your rainbow dreads tied in? It looks like there are a bunch of smaller rainbow treads or something at the base of your hair? Is it embroidery floss? Can we get some more pictures of your rainbow hair?!
Yes, there was a rainbow yarn (same yarn that I used for the dreads)! New pictures are coming soon... Finally I found some time to renew my rainbow collection!
Photos of my old rainbow dreads were taken in july 2010 and december 2010, next ones are in progress!
Im not really a fan of dreadlocks but i really really like these. They look clean and pretty (which is why i dont really like dreadlocks cause they look kinda messy) I love how they have different textures and colors.... beautiful!
Thanks so much! Anyway also when we have/had real dreads we are/were CLEAN!
