Fabulous!  I love them!  Totally makes me want to pull out some of my old falls and make some dreads.  The falls just get to heavy for me for all day wear lol.

You should try to crochet them from a fluffy yarn... Same size, less weight!  Wink

Thanks for your answer. I will definitely try this as soon as I get some of those moving boxes out of my living room. This seems like a good project to make during lectures.

I want to do this so bad! I don't think I could get away with it though. Employers aren't too keen on colorful hair. Sad

(Sorry to reply again, had an awesome thought! )  These could totally be used to be the dreads for an Izumi Curtis (FMA) cosplay.  You can almost never find a good dread wig, so being able to make ones that go in your hair would be ideal.  Plus, they would move around like real dreads!

Goooorgeous. I'm seriously drooling over your rainbow ones, and I'm trying to think of a way to talk my mom into braiding my hair with a billion dreads. Talk about time and cost effective!

I have a question, though: How are your rainbow dreads tied in? It looks like there are a bunch of smaller rainbow treads or something at the base of your hair? Is it embroidery floss? Can we get some more pictures of your rainbow hair?!

Im not really a fan of dreadlocks but i really really like these. They look clean and pretty (which is why i dont really like dreadlocks cause they look kinda messy) I love how they have different textures and colors.... beautiful!

Yes, there was a rainbow yarn (same yarn that I used for the dreads)! New pictures are coming soon... Finally I found some time to renew my rainbow collection!  Wink Photos of my old rainbow dreads were taken in july 2010 and december 2010, next ones are in progress!  Grin

Ok now these are awesome. What could be better than rainbow reds. Kind of makes me wish I could do this. Alas work would never alow it. So I will just have to droll of yours <3

you could always try some dread falls  Smiley Look it up... I was thinking about it myself.. so they'd be removable and fun at the same time
