What to do with leftover yarns after suffering a whole month above a new afghan...? Something funny of course! @;) Crocheted extensions seems to be a great idea if You want to change colour without dye Your hair or only want to escape from the dullness of life! You can make them as long as You want and than braid them into Your hair... You can wash them like Your natural hair (they are only a bit heavy), You can make wonderful dread updos... Use Your imagination!  Grin

Here is my beautiful sister with her old red dreads (her next ones are in progress!):

And with her new dreadlocks! Mixed technique: crocheted pastel dreads with blonde wool roving dreads:

IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR HAIR TO BECOME DREADLOCKED... DON'T LEAVE DREAD EXTENSIONS IN FOR MORE THAN A MONTH!  Angry

Wooh! Those are really pretty!
I have dreads (very, very thin ones & short) and I want to add some colors, but I always think yarn would look stupid in my hair. Ionno.
But anyway, yours look amazing.

These are awesome!  I'd only be able to wear a few at a time though.  I get muscle cramps in my neck rather easily, so I can't add much extra weight to my head.  I think my neck could handle having four or five of these beauties on my head, though.
