I wasn't sure where this should go since it is not technically a purse or bag, but this seemed liked the best place.  It is a caddy for an iron.  It has heat resistant material on the inside and can be used as a portable ironing surface as well as a carrier.
It was quick to make and handy to take to sewing retreats/classes.

Just to clarify, this was made from a purchased pattern.  I am not very good at making up my own patterns.  It was a quick, easy project which is what I like. Smiley
Thanks!

Love!  You did a wonderful job on this!  Can I ask the name of the pattern and/or where to buy it?

I have found a few tutorials online for iron caddies but this one is by far the easiest from the looks of it.  I'd also be interested in finding out what pattern it was... I keep saying I'm going to make one for going to sewing group and I always forget!

You did a fabulous job on it btw.  Smiley

Thanks for all the positive comments.

The pattern is called Caddy Pad by Sisters' Common Thread.  It costs about $16 - $17 and comes with a piece of the heat resistant material.

That's a brilliant concept.  I'll be squirreling away the pattern info for future reference.
I love the fabric combination you chose, too!  It's so cheerful.
