Strawberry Rhubarb Jams

From "250 Home Preserving Favourites" by Yvonne Tremblay. 

The first batch contains rhubarb, strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.  The second batch has orange zest and cinnamon added to it.  I reduced the sugar content for both batches.

My granma used to make strawberry rhubarb cobblers. Delicious!

Nice!  I made some strawberry preserves last week.  We don't have a source for rhubarb. Did you grow your own?

It looks so delicious. My grandmother and I have made strawberry jam in our yard, and it was so funny. This remind me of my childhood.

Strawberry/rhubarb does always take us back to the good old days, doesn't it?  My grandma used to make it every year as well.  

Missing Willow, I have a couple of plants that I took with me when we moved to our new house but they weren't growing very well.  I've just replanted them elsewhere so we'll see how they grow.  The rhubarb I used for the jams was harvested (by me) at my step-mom's mother's house and I collected some more just last weekend from a friend's yard.
