Recently I've gotten into making jewelry and I have fallen in love! Cheesy

My first two I made. Stretch bracelets. Gotta love the stars. :3

Also a stretch bracelet, pretty colorful. Smiley

A charm bracelet made out of a chain from a bracelet I never wore, buttons I had lying around, and some little beads from a necklace I didn't like. x3

Another charm bracelet I made for my best friend's birthday and she loved it! Cheesy An assortment of beads, charms and buttons!

Thanks for looking, and if y'all have any tips I'd love to hear them! :3

Edit:

Shot of the back of a button. Hope it's clear enough; just a jump ring :3

Excuse the chippy nail XD

Really creative!  I like how asymmetric they are.  I do have a question.  How in the world did you add buttons to your bracelets?  An eye-pin through one of the holes?  I may have a new vice to spend my money on if I can incorporate buttons.  Neat!

I'm with ToniOboe! I even recognized one or two of your buttons...I own them too!  I have a big bag of fancy shank buttons, with no idea of how to use them (short of changing out all the buttons on my shirts, and I'm NOT doing that!).  These bracelets are MAG!

Thank you both! Cheesy Assymetrical is always fun :3

The buttons I used (I don't know if there is a proper term) but they all have li'l loops on the back, so I put the buttons on a jump ring, then closed it around a chain link. Really easy, but frustrating if you drop it XD  I wish I had some back view pictures now  Roll Eyes

All looks amazing, mostly love the button ones, because I'm sort of addicted to buttons Tongue

I've got a whole box of miscellaneous buttons from my grandmother... almost like family heirlooms. Finally, a good idea on how to use them. I think my mom and sisters would love a beautiful bracelet made from grandma's buttons. Thanks for the great idea (though I'm not sure if mine will look as nice as yours) Grin

I bet it'll look great and I'd love pictures! Cheesy

I just took a few that looked good together and stuck one on the chain, then spaced the others any way that looked nice. :3
