I finally am getting around to posting my first ever art quilt.  I'm a complete newbie here (actually I still would say I'm a newbie).  I did learn tons while doing this project!  I used rhinestones for the stars and sequins for moonglow.  I handpainted some of the fabric for depths and details.  And I tried to add dimension to my night goddess with extra stuffing.

Thanks for peeking! Grin

She is STUNNING!!!

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.

I would totally want to steal this if it and I were in the same room. It's beautiful.

Great work! I especially like the composition, but the execution is phenomenal, too.

It's even more beautiful in person!  It makes my rather boring hallway much more cheerful.  (It has not been banished to my hall or anything!  My house is a bungalow and the hall is the central hub with all the other rooms off of it like spokes, so going anywhere else in the house, I get to see it!)
