I went to the anime convention Katsucon yesterday wearing a Sweet Lolita outfit. I had decided to make the skirt for a couple reasons: (1) I could sew (2) I did not want to spend money on a Name Brand (3) I didn't know what size I would be when I went to the conference since I'm trying to lose weight. The skirt is elastic banded so it can easily be put on. I used some lace trim and the ruffles on the bottom is another skirt I used to serve as my petticoat. The original petticoat I made ended up being too big. The bows were easy to make. I used left over fabric to make the bows. I'm going to make more detachable bows. Thanks for looking. Smiley
