My IYP partner is rackycoo and she got her package so I'm posting what I did.

I found this clock at a craft store........

It's pretty okay the way it is, but it's shape is pretty and to me it looked like it could be more, so I started messing with it.

Sanding....

And priming.......

Painting and imagining.....

Until finally, I had this....

It's not as yellow as it looks on the right..the sun was going down. Cheesy  A really enjoyable project!

Oh I love seeing the before and after. You are so creative - that clock may have been "okay" when you bought it - but its 100 x better and much more fun now that you got ahold of it!  Wink

When I saw the clock in it's original form, I thought it was fine... interesting even.

And I admit I had a cringe of, "oh no, it's going to be ruined by craftiness!"

I was wrong. So. Very. Wrong.

I love the finished product, you did a great job.

That's exactly what I thought! But what you've done emphasizes all the good things about the clock's form and makes it look even more elegant and interesting. And the surprise concealed inside the cupboard is a wonderful touch.

When I saw the before and after photos, I wanted to crawl inside Rackycoo's head and see how she thinks!  Grin  I NEVER would have been able to look at the clock (before photo) and think of what to do to make it (the after photo).  She's amazing! Kiss

I should clarify and say I made this clock for racky in the IYP swap. That's why it's racky's clock.  Wink
