What kind of string is best for doing string games (cat's cradle, etc.)? I got a copy of the Klutz Press string game book at the thrift store and would like to teach my daughter and her girl scout troop some games. The book didn't have its string anymore and I am definitely NOT going to order replacements from the Klutz catalog. Nonetheless, I am willing to spend a little money for something better than acrylic yarn, if necessary. Any recommendations?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, most questions do seem to be about dollmaking.
