Sorry, forget to tell you one thing important. When you make the knot tight, you have to always start from the inner string and do it one by one.

Don't forget to post your turtle after you finish it! Shocked I'm waiting for that.

Ah, you make the neck and the shells out of the same string. I just figured they had to be separate because of the different colors. But making them in one go makes a lot of sense. But that bit about inserting different colors afterwards is shocking Smiley
I succeeded in making an undershell with two different colors and I was able to tighten the knot with two strings pretty well. But with three, it didn't work. Weaving in strings after finishing the knot scares me a bit, maybe I can make it with two strings and weave in a third one afterwards. I'll try all options and see what works.

AWWWW! yours are awesome and mine is kind of deformed. The shell isn't as high as yours, but I'll keep working on it and if we don't have that kind of glue, could you use a hot glue gun?
