I was bored one day and i decided to make something.......... ....so this is wut i made!!

i ended up makin some bookmarks(sorry no pics available Cry )but here is the tutorial........
            suppllies:contact paper(or packing tape)
comics or other pics(i usually take the beginning pic in garfield or Marmaduke)
                        colored construction paper
                        scissors
                        glue sticks
Directions:
step 1:cut out the pic or comic into the size you would like your bookmark to be.
step 2:cut out the construction paper a little bit bigger than your comic or pic.
step 3:glue your comic or pic to the construction paper.
step 3:laminate the whole bookmark with the packing tape or contact paper
step 4:put it into your favorite book and enjoy!

That would be an excellent way to preserve comic strips that I just CANNOT throw away!

Ooh, good idea!  I've been making some bookmarks when I'm bored, but using nothing but construction paper, scissors, markers, stickers, and glue can get slightly tiring after awhile.  Thanks for the great idea!

wow.. you could do this with any number of things.  ANY NUMBER OF THINGS, I TELL YOU!

  • pages from old books
  • nice paper from the scrapbook or art stores
  • greeting cards & postcards
  • artwork
  • ...dang!  anything you can get your hands on, really!

perhaps I shall go find some contact paper...
