HAHAHAHA that is what happens when you run out of skin colored fabric and can't BARE to go to the store ONE MORE TIME to get skin colored fabric and have the lady say I told you so about not buying enough fabric (I like him too. :-) )

I prefer to think of it as a temporary lapse of insanity, hahaha. There will  be more children, but I made the executive decision of if your under the age of 1, you don't  get a doll. That would have added 8 more dolls, and I wasn't down with that!

These are sooo waaay cute!  Are their tails made of snuggle/cuddle flannel?  If so, did you get it at JoAnne's Fabric?

Yes they are made of the snuggle flannel from Joann's, the bodice is also that flannel! :-)

You are awesome to sew all of those little guys and gals. Once the horror of it fades you'll get suckered into doing more. I speak from experience. (Though I've never sewn 16 mer-people!!)

These are adorable!  I know a few little boys who would love the pirate mermen and find them quite manly enough!
