Does anyone know if there are sewing classes available anywhere in the Kingsport or Johnson City areas?  I can sew but i'd like to learn to make clothing so i'm really looking for classes geared more towards that...

Thanks :O)

Kingsport had sewing classes last year (2010 Summer Sched) under Adult Education. This year though.. I see nothing.

Here is the link...

I have finally gotten to where I want to use patterns but I am sort of lost on it. Laid the thing out and ..umm.. what? It would be great to get the one time at least to see someone using a pattern then I can run with it from there. I guess I can try to search youtube for my visuals.

Well, got through making the Shirt for my Wife from the pattern. You tube was a big help. Two problems I had was the size (I went up 2 sizes for her and should have went up 4 sizes for the bust line) and the buttons made the shirt hang lower on one side (User error..lol).
