i made this cowl and i love it. it is made from gorgeous handspun i bought, that has all kinds of shimmery firestar in it. no matter how hard i tried, i could not do it even an ounce of justice by photo, because the yarn looks so much better in real life. it's a simple cable pattern, and i just happened to have these 2 perfect buttons in my stash.

I can only imagine how gorgeous that handspun looks in person.  Simple patterns usually work best too...great work! The buttons you chose are perfect.
