I got my stuffie from FinRaziel today! He is the most original and cool little guy - an elf from the deep, dark woods. I took him outside to photograph, I thought he'd prefer it out there.

I told FinRaziel that I loved fantasy creatures, and that I'm really into the art of Brian Froud, and she came up with this amazing creature! I love him, he's got such personality, with all the details in his face, his ears, his cool cat eyes and his adorable little shoes and hat. He's completely the sort of little person I could imagine finding in the woods. I also love the fact that, despite the fact that we both crochet, she's used completely different techniques and shapes to make him, which I find really inspiring.

A big thank you to FinRaziel for organising this swap, choosing me to be her partner, and making me such a great stuffie!

oh he does look very good amidst all that greenery, especially after coming from bare and snowy chicago.

and i agree, it was really neat to get a lovely little creature that was crocheted so differently than anything that i make! im glad you like him Smiley

I took a trip to the post office yesterday for them to make me wait for 20 minutes and then tell me that they can't find my package. I got a number for a supervisor to call today. Tried that today and no answer. Now, I get to spend my lunch hour AGAIN searching for my stuffie!
He/she/it must be so lonely by now! I must find it!
This makes me super sad. Sad

After all my issues with the post office, I finally got my stuffie today from Saint_Angel!
It was SO MUCH FUN to have her as a partner, because we clearly have a lot in common. And she made me the CUTEST little Frankenstein EVER! I love him SO MUCH!

And he's wearing a little pin that's removable! I plan on putting her on my coat. Smiley

Saint_Angel, thank you SO MUCH! You totally rock!

That elf is totally amazing. I can't believe he's under 5" tall.
And the frankenhead, so cute and wonderful!  I just want to toss him about!
