Love the Bigfoot! Such an unusual guy, and his mysterious orbs are really cool. How is he constructed, suereal?

Thanks for all the nice comments about the Thistledown Spirit - I was really pleased how quickly she got from the UK to US, she made it across the Atlantic in record time!

So much amazing crochet stuff this round!  Everything is so danged CUTE too!

Funny you should ask how my BF was made Saint_Angel...as I stalked you to figure out how to make him LOL.  I got the idea and originaly was thinking something kinda like your toothy pouty lipped monster you made last round.  He came out compleatly different then my "plan".  But basicaly, he is just a back and a front and a strip to join them down the sides and top.  The arms are doll jointed on.  The arms and leg are just tubes with the hands and foot sewed into the ends.  The hands are pipecleaners, double twisted and then I just wrapped the no frey fabric around the wire and sewed it in place.  The foot is foil covered femo.  The face was made seperatly and then sewed on to the body.  The lower lip is seperate from the face peice, and it forms it's gullet pouch.  If I had used a smooth fabric, the BF would look a hot mess, but the fake fur covers up a multitude of sins Grin

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

I received from nmcakemom07 yesterday!

I said i wanted a chocolate lab with a white stripe down the middle--just like my first dog, Chase.

Isn't he precious??

We had agreed on two stuffies and an extra. She wrote a lovely note explaining she tried to make me a 10th Doctor, but it didn't work out, so she went with a medium she was more familiar with.. and made me this awesome bracelet!

Now, i can wear the Doctor!

She included a bag of little puppy stickers (so cute!) and this scarf weaving kit:

Everything together:

I love it all! Thanks for being such a great partner, Jill!
