This is soooo much fun!! I had been collecting fruits and veggies and woodgrain fabric. . . But I hadn't started it yet.
Now after seeing yours, I'll be collecting candy. . .

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the gumball machines.
This is so cool.

Did you follow the link in the post? I did a fun fruit and veggie shelf too. You really have to give it a try and let your imagination run wild Wink

I did check the link.  Its great.
When I started collecting the fabrics, I had seen a shelf with a fancy bottom.  It had feet maybe--it looked like a full shelf with jars on it.  I can't find it now.  I could probably make one like it if I could see it. . .  But hours of searching has not found the "right" one.

I love this one, too.

But now that I have seen your candy one--I REALLY love that one.  The list of things to do grows. . .
I promised myself I would work from my stash at least for the next two quilts.  So I guess I better get sewing so I can buy some clearance valentine candy fabric.  ;^)

There used to be a fabulous jar quilt site on geocities that is now defunct. That's probably where you saw it.

Oh, I like the quilt in your link. I may have to do another fruit and veggie quilt

I promised myself this would be the year of destashing projects. I need room for some new fabrics

--Hi Again--I found a shelf with legs this morning.  There is one in Block Magic, Too.  I wouldn't put the same things on the shelf, but I like the way the shelf looks.
Not sure if this is the one I remember--but it works.  Now to get to work--but the question is candy or veggies. . .

Oh my, somehow I missed this when it was first posted.  I love it!!  You do some amazing things with quilts.  I already have your crazy jar quilt in my 'favorites made by others' and I'm now going to add this too.

I don't know if I commented on this before, but I just came across it again and love it so much.  Such an awesome mix of fun, whimsy and supreme talent.  Great job.

I  know this is an old thread, but I just came across it (perhaps again??? I have been off line for a while).
This is so cool. It reminds me of the "I spy" type quilts. Wonderful job. I like your choice of fabrics.
