Well, these are not exactly beautiful, but they are useful and when they stop being so, can go straight back into the recycling bin  Smiley They took half a free paper each.

What I've learned:
1 they are easier to weave if you put something heavy in the middle when you are working the sides.
2 go round tugging all the strips again and again and again and again.......
3 the thinner the strips, the easier it is to make a tidy shape
4 the thinner the strips the longer it will take you to make it.

The original tutorial was from here: http://niftythriftythings.blogspot.com/2011/02/its-in-news.html

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

They are lovely, love to recirculate stuff, especially magazines (don't have the heart to throw them out but it's easy to rip them apart Tongue )

I really like these. I deliver papers on Saturday and Sunday, so I end up with a lot of extra papers. I may have to give this a try.
