I love love love to design things.  Sometimes I start with just yarn and let the yarn tell me what to make and other times I actually draw something and then take it from there.  This guy was a drawing I made and then brought it to life.  I adore this guy!

He sits completely on his own - and his butt kind of sticks up off the ground a little like he's going to jump.  I wanted to make a second one in red but got side tracked over the weekend - uh, on more frogs.  I have a few more ideas drawn out that I want to get to... I'm about to finish up the 2nd design today and then I'm going to move on to the Craftster challenge.

Happy Hoppy Frog is 7 1/2" tall and I made him with good ol' Red Heart Super Saver.  If they ever discontinue the color Spring I will be so sad - it is one of my favorites!

He's gorgeous! Grin I love how he stands on his own, and you're right, the colour is fab.

Yay frogs! It makes me smile. Smiley I know it sounds strange, but Red Heart Super Saver is my favorite yarn. Don't get me wrong I've been crocheting for over 15 years and have used all kinds of yarn, but when you're on a budget and need to make a gift red heart is great. Anywho, back to the main point. Grin  I love it! I picture him having to mind his little sister sitting on a lily pad or something.
