I saw this on the web somewhere.  It was incredibly easy to do!  Just roll up some bacon, insert toothpick, bake on broiler pan at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes, then stick on the end of a skewer.  Hubby was ABSOLUTELY thrilled!

Mmmmmmm.....Bacon!

Wow!  Thanks everybody!  I really wanted to make it more elaborate and add leaves and other flora, but hubby came home early today, for once.  It was a hit, even without it.

I'd love to see other people's bouquets if you make them!!

I have a heart shaped egg poacher, so I can just see breakfast this weekend consisting of heart shaped eggs and bacon roses! Yay!

Thank you so much for such an awesome idea.

ITS BACON!!!  That was for Valentine's Day?  Ha ha ha.  How clever and sweet.  Yes, the hubby does look very happy.  I'm sure lots of people would prefer a bacon bouquet over flowers.

I made a bacon bouquet today!

I took it into my boys work for him for lunch (I included some nearly BLTs, so he could use the bacon for something!).

They were a HUGE hit! Everyone was impressed.

The bacon in the middle was what I would call "floppy."  I like my bacon "crispy."  So, it was cooked enough for some, but not enough for others.  Does that make sense?

This is BRILLIANT.  I'm a vegetarian, but my fellow en't.  I love it!

A practical question: does this need to be served hot?  How long do the roses stay good?  I know very little about meat....

I'm so pumped!  I think I might dip a few in dark chocolate & leave the rest plain.  Thanks for the brilliant idea!
