Florida by thejoysofjess, on Flickr

All done in chain stitch. I've never really done tiny chains before, so I wanted to give it a go and I REALLY like the way it came out. New favorite stitch? (as if anything could take the place of french knot).

Super awesome!  I think this would be a great gift for anyone who has been transplanted from their home state.  Grin

Being a Florida girl I feel I am qualified to say...It's GREAT and I would hang it on my wall today!

I love it! I was just thinking the other day I wanted to make a Rhode Island one for my wall. :-) You may have inspired me to do so! :-)

wonderful, can't imagine how long it took to finish it. It inspires me to stitch my country, not sure if I should bother because we barely have straight lines, and there are a lot of islands. Lovely French knots Smiley

I love chain stitches. The color with the fabric look great together. Nice and clean.
