Part of our vows were " I will make a home in your heart forever", so I tried to turn it into a valentine for my hubby.  He's sentimental, and likes anything I make, but he doesn't really care for overly romantic symbols or images. Smiley

I gave it to him last night at 5 minutes after midnight, and he loves it.

I also made him the afghan that the card is lying on for Valentine's Day, but he got that early because it was chilly in our room.

What a nice valentine!  Did you use an x-acto knife?

Thank you so muc for your kind words!

Yes, I used an x-acto knife, and a piece of scrap wood to cut it on.  I did a basic sketch on cardstock with a pencil, then just started cutting.  It was pretty simple to do, and I'm looking forward to playing with paper and razor blades more often!

Just lovely, what a nice thing to make for him, simple but still enough detailed to admire it Cheesy
