Hubby said, I'm COLD! Four days ago.  I pulled out my size Q hook and a bunch of yarn scraps, and this was given to him two whole days later.  I haven't measured it, as it's "big enough", and I'm not sure about the color names of yarn I used.  I know I held two strands together for most of it, and that the majority of the blanket is made up of lion brand homespun yarn.

It's now the tv-watchin' blanket of choice.... when I can get the critters off of it!

Thank you!  I think it has magical powers somehow crocheted into it-- anyone who dares get underneath it falls asleep in 10 minutes or less.  My daughter, husband, and pets have all succumbed to it's siren song!

Nice! That type of yarn is waaaaarm! My mom has a couple blankets I made with that yarn and I can't even use them without ending up being hot!
Great job!

I just love how you've combined those colors...it kind of reminds me of a calm sea.  Maybe that's why it has the power to lull any one or anything to sleep. It's gorgeous!  I love my Q hook.  I've made several afghans like this..scrap yarns, multiple colors, humongous hook to make it go faster......I have to say it's my favorite kind of blanket to make!

Nice Job!
