Ok well I made this costume out of an Australian size 14/16 (which I picked up from a Salvos for $8) and me being a size eight it was rather big.
The pants came up to my armpits and the top went down to my knees... not very princess-y

So I used the back panel of the shirt to make my boobtube, I made the pants so they sat on my hips and so the crotch didn't go down to my knees and put elastic in the cuffs that were already at the bottom of the pants to make them all poofy. I sewed the arms of the shirt and the front panels to make the belt (you can see the breast pocket on the belt )
I added aluminium coins and beads to the bottom of the boobtube

HINT! If anyone tries this, attach the coins to the boobtube!! NOT THE ELASTIC! Hahaha I made the mistake and then when I tried the top on ALL of the coins & beads fell off...

Also, that's not me in the pictures, It's my boyfriend's 17year old brother! Hahah!

But he has a flatter stomach than me.. he thinks he has a six pac... more like a 3pac
ALSO don't be fooled by the second picture. His muscles are not that big

The outfit looks great! (Maybe you should go easier on your boyfriend's brother, since he did have the guts to model for you... even if his muscles aren't 'that big'.)
