I didn't mention this, but I was getting so displeased with how it was working...

haha i was a lil worried that with all my whining you were gonna think your quilt i'm making was gonna be a wreck! ps everybody at work loves it and the girl i made that african lady collage for said she'll trade you for the quilt.... and i know that means a lot  cause she was ready to fistfight for that thing!

I just Bing'ed the question about mail service and government shutdown, and it seems the mail will run because PO is self-funded part of government, so, YAY!

most govt institutions dont actually need the govt to run any more.   

trust me.  my govt seems to think shutting down is easier than answering questions.

but this is good to keep in mind for  immediate furute swaps...

Naaaah, we all whine about what doesn't work when we're creating. Craftster is a great place to bounce ideas and vent.

I'm glad I changed, the thing I was making before just wouldn't be up to par with what I sent you today. The people where I worked liked it and thought the story/concept behind it was cool too. So I'm happy!

never fear... i’m not certain but when i last checked the usps site it was still where you are. and it isn’t showing up in the canada post track system.  maybe customs is taking a peekaboo at it.

i am sooo accustomed to waiting for packages, tho usually it’s to arrive . (i have two mailed out for more than a month)

I am sending late. . I have had my granddaughter for a few days so that put a cramp in finishing... the reason why you ask??? Her little brother was born yesterday! Meet my first grandson!

I sent tristitia's quilt yesterday. Amazingly, I was able to fit it into the smallest flat-rate box. Having some swap anxiety, but trying not to think about it too much, because it's all over now but the shoutin'.
