I've got some fabric coming in the mail and last night I charted out a design with graph paper and colored pencils. It was really relaxing to color little quilt squares and then cut them out and move them around.

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!

I have two tentative designs but they are soooo different. I can't decide which to do Tongue I still need to take a trip to the fabric store next week.

gonna be out of town for the weekend - back online tuesday-ish.

finally figured out what i want to do for retro_rose's quilt. if it comes out like it is in my head, it's gonna be awesome! already planned in a little extra time on my trip out to catch some time at a fabric store on my way to louisiana. funny, as much fabric as i have in my stash now, i still don't have THE fabric, ya know? enough is never enough....  also wanna pick up some seed beads... Cheesy

I know what you mean. I don't think I'll be using a single stash item other than thread! And even still, I bought four new colours for this project! Wink

Have fun on your trip!

I think I know what I'm doing... hoping to gather all my supplies and get started this weekend. (Sadly, weekends seem to be my own crafting/ sewing time of late...)

I was a little intimidated when I read my partner's questionnaire - I think we have very different taste and I wasn't sure I could come up with an idea that she would like (and I would like to make!).  But after a little stalking, I now have a plan!  And it's one I'm very excited about Smiley  But I'm going to have to do a lot of experimenting and trial runs to get my quilt to look anything like the image in my head (I hope I can do it!).
Now if my order from dharmatrading would arrive...

Oh dear! I'm sorry my questionaire intimidated you, tristitia. Have no fear -- absolutely no fear -- whatever you make will be great appreciated on this end. I am so happy to be partnered with you.

dharmatrading, eh? Hmmmm, gonna go look to see what they have.

As for the quilt I'm planning to make, well, it's in the very early planning stages, but I do have an idea that I think will be terrific. Need to check out my fabric stash on my next day off (which is Monday).
