i think i have it narrowed down.  and hubby last night made some suggestions that will knock it out of the park, now i need to learn how to do one thing and buy some starch and not giggle like a crazy person every time i ‘see’ the finished product in my head.
i'm getting so excited!  have a great picture in my head for you too, can't wait to hit the fabric store on saturday and PLAY  Grin

this is just my first swap, but already i can totally understand how one could get addicted to doing these, so fun!

I think I've decided on the theme. I looked at some fabric online and actually think I found some really good ones. I figure if I order it, I can finish my other swaps so when I get the fabric I will be able to focus completly on this one. The picture in my head is awesome and it will be fun and challanging since I haven't tried anything like this. Can't wait to really get started.

Well, I have my back up MAQ all planned! I came up with a pretty cool idea (at least I think so) that would perfectly fit in one of margiej's themes PLUS 3d elements, but hubby said it wasn't "quilt-ish" enough, so I scrapped it.  I'll keep it on the back burner, though, just in case I can't come up with anything else. Sad

I do have a technique that I really want to use, but I can't figure out how to make it work with one of her themes.   I'm off to look at more inspiration, I guess.  Undecided

I'm amazed some of you have already planned and designed your quilts!  For inspiration, I keep reviewing past galleries and looked up Mini-Art Quilts on Flicker.  There are tons of ideas there!

What a great idea Sloth.  A bunch of quilt blogs I've been reading lately are all about the process.  It will be cool to see how the plans change over time.  I've got my basic idea set but like the rest, I've got to see if I can get some of the tricky elements to work.  It will be fun.

Wow. So much brainstorming going on here. I have half of an idea of what I want to do, but I can't think of what I want for the other half. I need to go through my fabric stash and quilting books for some more inspiration...

I found these 4x5 plastic picture protectors and I want to fill them up with YOUR art. Let's swap.
