Sega Genesis 'Troller Belt Buckle

I've seen NES controllers turned into belt buckles (And coin purses and what have you.) but Sega never seemed to get any of the same love. And I am a straight up Sega kid.

I happened upon a box with a few old controllers for pretty cheap a few months ago, and decided pretty quickly to make a belt buckle.
Yesterday I finally found the rest of my needed materials (That is, a smallish, flat belt buckle. A buck fifty at a flea market. Woot!)

The buttons are springy and pushable. The best part, though, is that I didn't destroy the circuit board, so if I unscrew the back I can put the circuit board back in place and have a working controller.





By the way, the buckle isn't actually crooked. I forgot to put the belt through one of the side loops so it got all wonky.

The box also had NES and SNES controllers that got made into belt buckles, too. I didn't get a picture of the SNES one yet.
But, in the interest of avoiding the console war, here's me jamming out in the NES one.

Woo! I was a Sega kid for a very long time. Glad to see it get a little love too.

Which makes me think, a Genesis remote is nearly the perfect size and shape for a clutch... I only I didn't still play my Genesis, or could find a few old remotes.
