This is just too adorable, you're so sweet for doing that for them! My mother breeds and raises long hair mini dachshunds so they have about 20-22 at their house, in the house, they're awesome little people <3

Oh my gosh - I had the biggest goofy grin on my face as I scrolled through this post. Really so unbelievably cute....so how many yards of fleece will I need to make one for my mastiff?

Oh fun!! 20 -22 doxies at one time is pretty much heaven on earth if you ask me

I didn't know you had a mastiff! Love them. I'm actually thinking of making something similar for our great danes - only without the bag - more like a hooded cape. Haaa! I think I'll need to buy a bolt of fleece for that little project.

Thank you SO much for the help! I'm going to try one.
Since it's a gift (and not MY dog!), how should I tell my friend to put "Oddie" in there? Do they crawl in themselves, or do you put them in kind of like a kid in a high chair? (Sorry if that's a dumb question!)
I can't stand it, I want a dog so much. Maybe if I plaster my dog-averse DH's mirror with these sweet little faces he will melt from their (as
suereal
says) "doxidorableness!"

We have the smelliest little mini-doxie named Ziggy. (yes, he gets baths...) He commandeers all the blankets in the living room, and they end up smelling like him. I'm going to try one of these this weekend!
What I'm wondering is, do you put them in the snuggies, or can they get in themselves? Ziggy loves to burrow, so if I made it the right way, he could probably wiggle and dig his way in. (My dad is hard of hearing, he thought his name was Diggy
for good reason.)
Nice job, your doggies look very happy in there little cuddle bags.

Since these little sacks are pretty long and narrow, it does require that I lift up the pups and lower them in. They do like burrowing in them too though but they are too narrow for them to be able to turn around and get their heads out
.
You could make one that has a hood at both ends rather than totally closing off the bottom. That way they could burrow and still peek out for air once in a while!

I was in the Girl Scouts when I was a kid, and on camping trips I took my dad's old mummy bag. One trip I woke up and my head was at the foot of the bag and my feet were sticking out the face hole. I have no idea how I ended up backwards..but maybe, I'm 1/2 doxie! I didn't know I had any German in me at all tho...
