I was just browsing through some of the great fat quarter projects on Sew Mama Sew (http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/?cat=38) and thinking about 1) the huge stash of fat quarters I have and 2) how many awesome projects I could be making with them.

Bags, pin cushions, stuffies, tissue holders, needle rolls, pot holders, headbands, fabric baskets... the possibilities are endless.

I was wondering if anyone might want to do a swap where we'd craft something for our partners out of 1 or 2 fat quarters? It could be anything as long as it was in line with our partner's tastes and was made with just a fat quarter (and thread, buttons, zippers, etc. as needed).

Glad to see that there is some interest! I think it would be a fun and easy swap Smiley.

We'll see if we can get a few more people to jump on our fat quarter band wagon and then we can talk details!

Going to check out the site...I like finding ways to use small bits of fabric and easy ways to craft!  I only have a few fat quarters, but lots of bigger pieces of fabric I could cut to the right size and use for this swap. =]  Great Idea!
