Loving all the bookmarks. Thanks for explaining about the "hymnal" marker. That's just brilliant! I might have to make one for myself. The magnetic fairy is also a clever idea and the twenties girl is just the bee's knees!
I'm glad you like the bookmark, writer_crafter. I tried to tailor each marker to each partner's personality. The paper is from Hobby Lobby. I think I want a whole pad of it, though it's only sold individually.
I have to agree that this has been one of the easiest, most enjoyable swaps ever!

I don't think I've got a Hobby Lobby anywhere near me, at school or at home Sad  I was in Michael's today and looked around the scrapbooking section and found sheets very much like it, though.

Wow! A million bookmarks have been posted since I last checked. Really great work! I'm excited to get mine, but I'm leaving town tomorrow, so I'll have to wait until next Monday.  Tongue

Please Ms Postlady look and see
If there's a bookmark in your bag for me
Why's it takin' such a long time
For me to get that bookmark of mine

I know it hasn't been long enough for them to come, but I'm an impatient wait-er.

They are easy. I don't remember the name of the 'knot' at the top, but it is just the ribbon put through the hole and then the tails through the loop on the other side. The shortest ribbon is 10', although this should be adjusted if you are making it for a specific book to just enough to be below the bottom of the book when it is closed, with each one after adding @ 1'-1.5'.
