I'm finally getting to posting pictures of the lovely bookmark I got from Brackish Potato!  I think she read my mind about what I like, because this is just awesome Smiley

Some of the papers are textured and the backing paper is awesome.  I must find this and make something else out of it.

Thanks again Brackish Potato!  I've been using it while reading Jane EyreSmiley

Wheee! My first bookmark arrived!   Grin

I received from How Lovely last night - so pretty! And SO ME!  Cheesy

She sent me this pretty 20's gal...

Isn't she adorable? And I love the decorations.   Cheesy

Here's a closeup of the gal:

And I love the little extra, that all her jewelry is glittery gold!

And here she is, peeking out from her new home:

Thank you SO MUCH, How lovely! It is lovely!  Wink  I am taking her to book club this month to make everyone jealous.  Grin

I received from Crafty_Butterfly and mgailp yesterday.  (Images are clickable.)

From Crafty_Butterfly, this fabric bookmark with my initials embroidered on it:

front -

back -

closeup of embroidery -

And the background is all butterflies, so I can remember the great swap partner who sent it. Wink  This is wonderful, as I know my preschooler can't tear this bookmark in half! lol

From mgailp, I got a SnoCap cutout as previously mentioned.  I won't post another picture, though.  And a "hymnal"
marker.  (I have something similar in my Bible - with multiple ribbons.  But no charms.  And I would never have thought to use plastic canvas!  For those who are not familiar, the plastic canvas piece slips into the spine of a book - that only works with hardcovers, though - and that leaves multiple ribbons to mark various places in the book.)

close(r)-up of the charms -

And these embroidered ribbon 'marks:

There are two because she says she wasn't happy with the embroidery on the first one, so she started over, but I think they both look good. Smiley  The purple one is satin-stitched (that must've taken you forever!); the blue one is cross-stitched.  And I love the black-and-white ribbon.  (Also, my preschooler can't tear any of these, either!)

Such great bookmarks all around.  I love the flapper girl.

I've totally enjoyed this swap.  Fun, low-stress, and shipping is definitely easier on my wallet Smiley
