I'm so glad you liked the bookmark, Brackish Potato!  I was looking around at your wists and such trying to figure out what you might like, then I remembered I have three skeins of that cotton yarn and you mentioned liking bright colors...so it worked out perfect!

I recieved the package from mgailp. There were 3 bookmarks inside along with a handwritten notes and a couple pages of printed fairy outlines. I feel thoroughly spoiled and a little tad bit guilty for only sending one bookmark.

One was a beaded 'hymnal marker' I love this idea. I don't have any hymnals or textbooks that I use regularly but I do have a cookbook that had a few post it notes marking pages of favorite recipes. So that's where I've put it. The colors are prefect and I really like the butterfly charm that is also part of it.

the second bookmark I pulled out of the package was a fairy with magnetic wings that fold either side of a page. It's awesome! What a brilliant idea making the wings magnetic! I love the way the wings are pieced and the colors that were chosen.

The third bookmark was the one that was mentioned in the other thread for this swap. A cut out of the snow caps candy box. In the pic is my sons hand grabbing it for his use!

thanks mgailp for 3 great bookmarks!

chuges: I love the charms on the alice bookmark...and zombies!  I adore zombie reads (I'm reading one right now in fact.) so LOVE, especially since it is not too gory (I try to keep super gore down due to kiddos)
Pinkleo:  I loved making the bookmarks but I will admit the zombie was alot of fun.  I wanted to do something zombie without out it being to gory cause I just think I could paint it.  Ive never painted anything really gory before.  I thought this way its she could hunt the zombies.

Thanks, Crafty Butterfly. The canvas one only takes @ 10-15 min and was me taking a 'break' from a project that was driving me nuts. (The other 3 of my send-ees got one also.)
