I really would like to learn how to crochet because I have been given a book of crochet patterns and things.. and there are some amazing things in there!! Like stunning stuff.
A pair of gloves which look like they should be worn in the 1920's and a hat... Actually.. most of it looks rather 1920-1930 ish ♥♥♥

So I would like to know if anyone could link me to a how to site of some sort?

Thanks in advance!! Smiley

You may find this post useful: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=346848.0

It's still a work in progress, but it might help you get started!

I also recommend checking YouTube for videos relating to what your pattern says.  That's how I learned to knit. ^_^  (I already knew how to crochet before YouTube was a thing. ^_-)

crochet.about.com has a good instruction section

crochet-mania.blogspot.com also seems to come up quite frequently when I search for anything crocheted- she has lots of videos on youtube too

you can also buy/borrow books that teach you all the various stitches
