I used sticky tearaway on the bottom and water soluable on the top

Thanks! I did some bowling towels years ago and the writing is almost to the point you can't see it anymore. I didn't think to use water soluble on them. LOL.

yeah it stinks when the stitches sink into the pile on the towel....I made a few like that before I thought to use a soluble stabilizer on the top to stop the sinking of the stitches.
