The handwarmers are a necessity when playing...my hands like to go numb in the winter time!  I figured the hat would be a good addition to the set.  The hat pattern is called Silk Garden Beanie http://acunningplan.typepad.com/andsheknitstoo/patterns/silk_garden_beanie.html
and the handwarmers are a slightly modified version of this pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/75-yard-malabrigo-fingerless-mitts
The hearthstones are duplicate stitch.  I'm not that good with intarsia!
