I made some slippers for some friends for Christmas and I couldn't stop making them. I keep coming up with new ideas. Let me know if you have any ideas. My boyfriend keeps telling me that I need to add some kinda of rubber surface to make them slip resistant. I haven't figured out the best way yet. one of my friends suggested puff paint.

Enjoy!

puff paint works, just use a big enough 'dot' so that it can grip.. hot glue works too, not as pretty, and ive also been wanting to use those strips you put in your bathtub, hot glue them on or something, I have some great punches I was gonna use to cut them out and then hot glue, i think, them on

Those look great!  I think there's a product called Plasti-kote or something you can get at hardware stores that gives a non-slip grip.  Haven't used it myself.

I put suede patches on the bottom of my slippers.  You could buy the ready-made kind, or just do what I did and cut soles from a bit of suede or leather.  I punched holes with a leather punch, then stitched them on.
