Hi everyone, these are my latest creations. C&C welcome.

This is a pattern I found on ravelry. I liked it because it's a ripple blanket made like an ordinary granny square so it grew really quickly.

It's about 4ft from point to point and took about 4 evenings to complete. I really enjoyed making it. It was a break from the other afghan I'm working on at the moment.

I made this next blanket for my boyfriends sisters baby, he's due in a few weeks. I wanted it to look a bit like twister, but in shades of blue and green.

This is a close up of the edging. It's a stitch that I just found called crab stitch. It's double crochet backwards and it makes a really cool spiral look. You've probably already used it a million times but it's new for me!

My cushion cover is made in a chunky yarn and is worked in trebles. I made a loose cotton envelope style liner for it. I really wanted to use wooden buttons, but you can't get anything around here (Yorkshire) so they are plastic.
Thank you for looking.  Smiley

They are all really good but I am def. impressed with the blanket using crab stitch. I can't do crab stitch to save my life, my hands just won't do it!

I love all the stuff you made! Great color choices! Can you post the link to the granny star? I'd love to add it to my faves. Thanks! *smiles*

Love it all. Did you make the Spiral "Twister" granny square or did you get the pattern online? I would really love to make one of those in Red, Black, White and Grey for my living room.

Thanks for the lovely comments, here's the link to the pattern for the ripple blanket:

You'll really enjoy making it cos it's super quick!

For the other blanket I used pattern 89 from the 200 crochet blocks book but I made it a bit smaller. It's just a basic circle in a square pattern though so you should be able to find one easily online.
