Could anyone point me in the direction of a Dutch inspired embroidery/cross stitch pattern? I'm thinking maybe the "classic" image of a little Dutch girl or something similar. I have a friend whose parents are both from Holland, although she was born here, and I'd like to make her something with this image on it. It could also just be a simple drawing that I could then play around with, I just need somewhere to start

Try Yahoo!  Search for Holland coloring pages.  I found a couple of images but when I copied and pasted the links, they didn't work.  Also, don't forget about windmills and tulips!

Try http://needlecrafter.com/, they probably have something suitable! (Under Library->Designs->People for example).

"Aunt Martha's" iron on transfers has a Dutch girl design.  You can get them in the embroidery supply department at the craft store or Wal Mart
