I've been meaning to try making synthetic dreads forever! Was it hard?
Also, you both look marvelous!  Man, I need cooler friends!

Lol, thank you! No it was super duper easy. I learned from this youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihlxsA-R0ZE

If you look online you can find all colors of Kanekalon for about 2 US dollars, and I've found that it takes 2 packages to fully cover someone's head. It's super cheap and easy!

Both versions of the costume look awesome, not to mention total badass! Together with the mask it's really creepy, and I could totally see you walking around in Fall-out!

Thank you everyone! I airsoft with Desert Rat Airsoft Team of Airsoft Pacific (in Oregon/Washington). Most of it is military simulation but our team hosts a post-apocalyptic "Fallout" event every year, and there's another team that does "Dr. Mannicotti", the steampunk themed larpsoft. It's super fun!

Awesome costumes! Love it!
My fella says he saw a lot of fallout costumes at a recent convention but that most of them were in vault suits, so seeing this was wicked. Smiley
