I eat chicken. I cook chicken a lot. That’s why I am always looking for new ideas and flavors how to cook it.
I also eat to cook with salad dressing. They are a fast and tasty marinade and there is a wide selection of flavors.
Last night I used Orange Poppy Seed salad dressing to cook. It was a real success!!
Orange Poppy Seed Chicken
Boneless and skinless chicken breast.
¼ cup Naranja Agria (Bitter Orange Juice)*
3 tbspn olive oil
¾ cup water
¼ cup vino seco (dry cooking wine)
½ cup orange poppy seed salad dressing
*Naranja Agria (Bitter Orange) is sour or bitter citrus fruit that is used in Latin Caribbean cooking to marinate meats and add a unique flavor. A good substitute is 1/3 cup lime juice & 2/3 cup orange juice.http://www.goya.com/english/product_subcategory/Condiments/Marinades-Cooking-Ingredients
Marinate the chicken with the bitter orange juice and garlic salt. Preferably overnight.
Mix water, cooking wine and salad dressing together.
Sautee chicken breast in hot olive oil until they turn light golden brown.
Add liquid mixture and cook chicken in high-medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Lower temperature and let it simmer until chicken is well cook and the sauce has turn creamy.
