Hi everyone!
I'm getting into sewing western shirts for horse shows, and they use a lot of metallic leather or lambskin appliques. I've looked all over the internet for shops that carry these and have had no luck. All I've found is an ebay seller, and their shipping is a little unreasonable in my opinion. I only need little pieces no more than a couple square feet, not whole hides or anything. I'm really surprised at how difficult this has been to find, so any help would be very appreciated! Thanks Smiley

Does it have to be real leather? I have some gold fabric - not woven - that's gold with a leather-grain style finish, and grey on the underside. I have absolutely no idea what it's made of, but from horseback it would certainly pass for leather.

I bought mine at Oregon Leather in Portland. http://www.oregonleatherco.com/
It's not on their website, but maybe if you call 800-634-8033 they'll work with you. The colors varied every time I was there, but there was always something I wanted.

I hope this helps!

Here is a link to Payless Fabric's leather selection. They have several varieties listed on the web page, but could probably get what ever you are looking for.
