Hi all - sorry I'm behind with color chart on the first page. It's the week before my week off from school and of course, all the teachers are sick. So I don't have play time desk time to catch up. I will work on this tonight and get current.

I am also plugging away on my pieces - I am struggling with the eternal Craftster question - how much is too much? Can I add a little glitter? And less is more but more is better!

Have fun.

Each set has provided me with it's own difficulties... try to scan something from one of my art books and alter it in photoshop or just find something on getty images... should this one have words... this purple doesn't seem purpley enough (I have like 50 bottles of acrylic paint and I still end up mixing my own half the time)

The one I'm most concerned about is half of me wants to go out and buy stamps and ink, because I have ~words~ in mind, and my messy writing in sharpie wouldn't pull it off well enough. But I've never stamped anything, and I really don't want this to be the place where I learn I suck horribly at it. It's a paper piece, not a painted piece, and I don't want to F it up.

Papercrafting... you make my insecurities come up in ways that all other crafting does not.  Angry

Would it work for you to find a font you enjoy, print the words out then cut and paste them?

I received my pieces from woobie today! This is my second time being one of her swap partners, and I am growing quite fond of her work. These pieces are great! And I just love the Beatles inchie and extras she sent!

Thanks again Janice!

The Beatles piece is awesome. I mean, not really my taste of music, but still completely awesome as a piece.

I received THE COOLEST pieces from AmandaBL today - hold onto your hats:

The background looks like layered paper and the eggs are super-shiny - diamond glaze?

And the second piece - MADE FROM EGGSHELLS! OMG - it's so beautiful:

(Sorry - had to cover the flash to get a shot.)

And since I have no patience for waiting, a preview of the top corner of my puzzle, with two pieces I've made:

Thanks so much Amanda for a GREAT start to my puzzle.
