Soooo...

I've been watching the Crafster as a guest for some time, but only now I gathered courage enough to come, join, post and stuff. I'm really, really insecure with this stuff, so if I've done something wrong, I apologize in advance. =op

Well, first post, first project (without being following somebody pattern to the letter)... But I really liked and wanted to share. So here it is.

I've done this doll to my boyfriend's younger brother (who isn't a child, but is a fan), for Christmas. I followed the Strongbad pattern (by Aleta Fera. Very nice pattern! link here: http://www.the-contact-network.com/otheregg/aerie/knit/strongbad.pdf ), but made some changes. The more relevant was the clothing... all made of felt and sewed on the finished doll. The others are pretty self explained, I guess.

The photos are not very good, but they were taken with a cellphone camera (and the laptop) in the last minute. But I hope you like it! =o)

Uh, thanks!

I'm feeling so proud right now! >.<

The shoes are the basic of the strongbad model, I just laced them with a sewing needle. I liked the effect and it looked fine with his outfit so... I hope if you ever feel like making a scary jack, this one helps. And thank you for the compliments! Yay!

ps: Strongbad? Strongbad rules. I made one for a friend as a birthday gift. It is his "Guardian of technology" now. =o)
