Thank you for posting the details of how this quilt came to be. It is stunning! I never would have thought all those different fabrics would work so well together. What a gorgeous rainbow! Such a mish-mash of years of collected bits and bobs and every piece has a meaning or a memory attached to it. I love it! I have to tell you that this choked me up and brought tears to my eyes. Fantastic work indeed.... job well done. (Did your hubby cry upon receival?)

WOW.  What a spectacular way to express your love!  Even if your husband doesn't really "get" the amount of work involved, he knows this is completely from the heart and I'm sure he can feel the love that was sewn into every stitch, because it is just radiating.  Happy anniversary and here's to many more!

Absolutely stunning!  What great ideas you had when putting this together...My 10 year anniversary is this year and I have been wanting to make a quilt for our bed, too.  Now I can use your story as inspiration when designing and putting it together. Thanks so much for sharing!
