Hey everyone! This is the first craft I've posted here on craftster and I am so excited.

I am a huge fan of the British scifi show Doctor Who and I also collect Russian nesting dolls. After seeing a set someone painted of the TARDIS and all 11 incarnations of the Doctor posted on facebook and seeing the set by irishdaydreamer here on craftster, I decided to make a set for myself.

I bought the blank wood nesting dolls off of Amazon.com and they were actually from Russia... which I think is pretty cool. I chose to paint the TARDIS, David Tennant's Doctor (as his is my favorite), and my three favorite companions: Donna, Rose, and Captain Jack.

Here goes:

Thanks! Smiley

Great job! The tardis is especially well done, the way you did the shading and everything is perfect!

These are so fantastic!  I want to write in all caps that is how awesome it is.  I love the selection of companions too (I completely agree).  And Captain Jack is so cute as the smallest one.  I just want to put him in my pocket.

You did such a great job with all the little details! The TARDIS as a nesting doll works so perfectly (almost like its bigger on the inside!).  Love it.

Thanks so much everyone! Smiley I'm really happy with the way they turned out and I'm so glad you guys like them too. And yes, the TARDIS works SO well because it's like it's "bigger on the inside" Smiley haha, love it!
