Hi there,

I'm currently living in Washington (near Seattle), but I'm from the Beaumont, TX area originally.  We may be moving back, but I've recently gotten into vending at craft shows with my knit and crochet items (you can see some examples on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/angie_d_1984/).  I'm a bit nervous about what the craft show scene will look like back in SE Texas? I never looked at the area with a "vendors eye" before, so I guess I'm wondering if any of you sell similar items at shows in the area? We're looking at San Antonio, Austin, Houston, & the Golden Triangle area primarily. It's quite a different climate :p so I'm wondering if I'd still be able to manage my little business after the move. Any helpful advice or suggestions?

I have noticed most vendors will set up a booth at Winnie Trade Days (1 weekend of the month after the 1st Monday). I do not sell but I am always on the hunt for good local crafts.
